The Malaysia 2010 wildlife and nature events listed in this web-page include some of the official events organized by the various state and tourism departments in Malaysia.

There are also events organized by the Malaysian Nature Society, World Wide Fund for Wildlife (WWF) and other non-governmental organizations, corporations and societies.

The events and sports listed below are generally selected based on their close association with wildlife or nature, such as water-sports, bird-watching or flora shows.

There are of course many other 2010 wildlife and nature events in Malaysia that have been planned but yet to be finalized. Hopefully they will be added here when confirmed and announced.

So do check this webpage from time to time for updates. And please contact the organisers for confirmation of the events if you wish to participate, as there may be last minute changes, postponements, etc.

In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

And among His Signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the living creatures that He has scattered through them: and He has Power to gather them together when He wills.

There is not an animal (that lives) on the earth, nor a being that flies on its wings, but (forms part of) communities like you.

And God has created every animal from water: of them there are some that creep on their bellies; some that walk on two legs; and some that walk on four. God creates what He wills for verily God has power over all things.

Al-Quran
